Please read the following carefully. By purchasing a Scriveil service, you agree to these terms. If you have questions, contact us before placing your order.
Upon delivery of the final approved piece, full ownership transfers to the client without condition. Scriveil retains no rights, licence, or claim over the delivered content. The client is free to publish, modify, or distribute the content under their own name without attribution to Scriveil.
Scriveil won't use any content produced for a client as a portfolio sample, case study, or reference without explicit written consent from the client.
The client is solely responsible for reviewing all content before publication. Scriveil provides writing services only and has no control over, or responsibility for, the consequences of any content published by the client.
Scriveil is not liable for any legal, professional, reputational, or financial consequences arising from publication, including but not limited to: claims of defamation, claims of plagiarism, audience or public reaction, regulatory consequences, or any other outcome resulting from the client's decision to publish. The client's decision to publish constitutes their acceptance of full responsibility for the content and all consequences thereof.
Scriveil makes every reasonable effort to produce original content and uses AI-assisted tools to scan for similarity with existing published material as part of our quality process. However, Scriveil does not guarantee that delivered content is entirely free from coincidental similarity to other published works.
Scriveil is not liable for any claims of plagiarism arising from coincidental similarity to existing content. The client accepts responsibility for independently reviewing and verifying the originality of content before publication. Scriveil won't intentionally reproduce copyrighted material and does not engage in deliberate plagiarism.
Scriveil will produce content on a wide range of subjects, including controversial, political, and sensitive topics, at the client's direction. Scriveil reserves the right to decline to produce content it deems hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, or in violation of applicable law.
Where Scriveil produces content on a controversial subject at the client's direction, the client accepts sole responsibility for the decision to commission and publish that content. Scriveil is not responsible for offence caused to any party by content published by the client.
All services require a 50% deposit at checkout. The remaining 50% is charged automatically upon the client's approval of the final piece. All pricing is in USD. Payment is processed via Stripe. Scriveil does not store payment credentials.
Refund policy:
All services include two rounds of revisions. A revision round is defined as a single set of consolidated feedback submitted through the client portal. Additional revision rounds beyond those included may be requested at an additional fee, to be agreed in writing before work begins.
Scriveil is not responsible for revisions required due to material changes in the client's brief after the interview has been submitted.
Scriveil treats all client information, interview content, and delivered work as strictly confidential. Scriveil won't disclose the identity of any client or the nature of any engagement to any third party without the client's explicit written consent.
Clients using Scriveil services through an agency partner should note that Scriveil's confidentiality obligations run to the agency partner. The agency partner is responsible for maintaining confidentiality with their own clients.
Scriveil is not anti-AI. We use artificial intelligence as a tool in selected parts of our process, including: research assistance, proofreading, similarity scanning to protect originality, and internal operations management.
The final written product delivered to every client is produced entirely by human writers. Scriveil does not use AI to draft, generate, or substantially assist in the creation of client content. This is a core operational commitment and is not subject to variation by service tier or client type. We are transparent about this because we believe clients deserve to know exactly what they are purchasing.
These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction in which Scriveil is registered. Any disputes arising from these terms or the services provided by Scriveil will be subject to that jurisdiction. Scriveil serves clients internationally; clients are responsible for ensuring that their use of Scriveil's services complies with applicable laws in their own jurisdiction.
